Eliminate refined sugar. Sugar makes it easier for you to get sick because it makes your immune system weak. Lots of former sugar eaters say that once they cut the sugar out of their diets, they felt a lot healthier than they used to. Sugary drinks might taste better when you are sick, it is better to steer clear of them and drink water instead (or tea). Taking in a lot of sugar can counteract the good that the rest of your natural health remedies might be doing.
